Heidi's Hideaways

I managed to get to the end of 2025 with (with one exception) only having ever written restaurant reviews and never writing a review for a single other thing – not a tour, a nail salon, or a hotel.

This all changed during my stay at the Royalton Grenada. I’ve seen my way around an aqua class before and was excited to take the one the resort offered. I showed up early in good aqua class gear. The trainer, Roneisha, grabbed me after class and asked me to write a review. A monster was born. I wrote a very long review on TripAdvisor for the hotel when I got home, the general manager responded, and I started writing more and more reviews.

I like to cook, I like to eat out, and I have very strong opinions when it comes to purchasing airline tickets and choosing an airport lounge or a credit card.

So was born Heidi’s Hideaways.
