My college mascot is the Owl. So when going to a college event, I HAD to make Owl cupcakes. I got my inspiration from https://ameessavorydish.com/surprise-inside-chocolate-peanut-butter-owl-cupcakes/. Thanks Amee!

They turned out really well and were a big hit. I learned a few things:

Don’t ask me why – but the mint Oreos come apart much more evenly than the regular Oreos with a more even distribution of icing.

Fortunately I was doing this around Halloween so I was able to get M&Ms all in one color!

Because I wanted to exert minimal energy, I used a cupcake mix and a jarred icing.
