Emei Restaurant Review

Emei is a restaurant in Philadelphia’s Chinatown. The portions, as I’m sure it’s meant to be family style, are huge. I got the whitefish soup which was delicious.

My dinner companion got the duck soup, and had many, many bones in her soup. I had a few with my white fish, but hers surely could have been renamed a bone soup.

The waitstaff was incredibly nice. They sat us right away even though we were early to our reservation, and helped us hurry through to make our show time.

Would recommend, but if you’re gluten free, read the menu before you go. GF items are clearly marked, and there’s not too much to chose from.
