Equinox on 19th Review

We went to Equinox on 19th on a snowy day in January for lunch. They were participating in Restaurant Week. Restaurant Week extended twice (once because, and once because of weather) and Equinox on 19th didn’t seem to get the memo about either. That said, they have an “Express Lunch” option year round that is the same price as the restaurant week deal (it’s just a more limited menu).

The mocktail selection was ample, and the regular (non express menu) had many gluten free options to choose from.

For the appetizer, I got the soup and my friends got the salad. I can attest that the soup was amazing.

Everyone in our party got the hanger steak. I was impressed both by how large it was, and how tender.

For dessert, my friends got fresh salted chocolate covered almonds, and I got the chocolate panna cotta. I believe it included a homemade coconut ice cream which was the perfect finishing touch.

All and all the service was wonderful.

I had indeed been to the original Equinox, about 20 years ago. The experience now was just as great.
